I walked in the house earlier and, my wife complained I smelled like smoke. Bellevue was pretty bad today.

We are 'only' about 220 (Very Unhealthy) this morning, but there are some really nasty air quality conditions on the west side of the mountains and down in Oregon right now.

Wow, those are some huge numbers.

Boise sits in a valley, so summer smoke is a yearly issue.

This year has not been terrible, but others have been strong, and damn-near lasted the whole summer.

It is actually Boise’s Dirty Little Secret.

Columbia county is kinda knarly right now. Been pretty thick going on about a week now. Big fire going on up by Washougal / Camas area. We have like 14 strait days of rain coming , so it should help a bit.
