Confused as the interviews at Red Bull Straight Rhythm, when asked about the differences between the two strokes and their factory four strokes, they were complaining about bogging and power hesitation on the two strokes? I have ridden two strokes my whole life and the newer properly jetted two strokes have zero bog/hesitation. I could only imagine the new fuel injected two strokes are even better. I would think a bike with a third of the moving parts would react quicker!?

Bogging = lack of torque. Pretty sure that's what some of them were trying to say. The 2 strokes don't have the torque off the bottom, which is one of the reasons I switched back to them. I spent to much energy trying to hold on to those 450's.

Listen to MM25’s interview with Weege. I believe that it’s more of a thing that all the pro’s today have pretty much stuck to the 4 stroke world and they have a much broader torque curve. Whereas the 2 stroke requires you to be at precise RPM’s to hit that peak torque curve.

MM25 talked about it how he wanted to keep the bike at rev limiter like normal, but he realized he needed to keep it at the midrange for peak torque and it made him faster.

Ya, the torque thing makes sense, they just didn't explain it very well for being Factory riders.

I caught that as well.

It's amazing how he adapted so well, so quickly.

I say ban all 4-strokes and go back to 2-strokes. Who's with me? Woohoo
