Looks like he earned his license through pro-ams... he has 94pts in 450 and 75 in 250.

I don't think this is any different than any other amateur coming out of Lorettas and getting a ride, except he didn't go to Lorettas this year instead he got 8th place at X Games.

Good luck to him, this is a great opportunity.

Ahh.. I thought you were saying otherwise. No biggie.

But there are over 50, more than a handful. Plus double point races, etc.

Because you are looking in the wrong place, dumbass. Try checking here - http://home.ama-cycle.org/...x.asp?s=66&year=2009.

I'd say 48 pro-am races is a few more than "a handful."

The kid will open some eyes for sure. His speed is up there with the best, he'll just have to dig deeper than the rest. Its hard to jump into the outdoors and expect to have a foundation (fitness) like the riders who have been racing all year. Not to mention, summer just arrived back east!

really, this (http://www.amadirectlink.com/amrace/advancement) isn't the right place to search for rider results? really? You're a tool. Find a bridge.

How has he earned his A class points to race a national....?
he won 2 mini o's titles as a pro so that gave him enough pro points. amateur nationals give double points, just so you know.
