It is very sad news that Jed Mingo has passed away in a plane crash. Jed was the truck driver for the Rockwell and Firepolice team. He has also been the Truck driver for team Solitaire. Jed was the Rockwell pilot as well. He was flying his plane with his Dad and his brother when they went down. All 3 were killed in the crash. Most everyone in the supercross and national pits knew Jed. He was friendly to all and helped out most anyone he could. He has been with Rockwell since day 1 and we will miss him dearly.

Sad to hear, Jed was a great guy and he will be missed. It was a great time having Jed as our truck driver for the last 2 years.


Glad I got to see him at x-games, if there is anything you guys need let me know, Rich has my contact info.

Jed lived his life to the fullest, on his terms. He was one of the most easygoing, kindhearted people I have ever met. There was nothing Jed wouldn't do to help out, from last minute plane flights to bail us out and drive our truck to literally coaching me down a 6% grade in Gretchen (the name of our new Mercedes powered semi) on the way to Washougal two weeks ago. Jed was one of a kind - the kind we need more of.

Rest in peace Jed. We love you buddy.

Jed you will always be remembered. It's truley unfortunate when we lose such good friends. I will always remember the times that we would get together and do some pretty fun and crazy things. It's not good bye but rather enjoy the journey until we meet again! Rest in peace Jed we will miss you! Godspeed

Jed was a great friend and he was like a brother to my cousin Jake, who many of you may know. I've had the pleasure of knowing him for the last 10 or so years and have had many good times from supercross to motocross, to the River, Lake Mead and Vegas, and we're all going to miss him dearly. Jed, his Bro, his Dad, and all family and friends will be in my prayers. I'll never forget the good times that we all had together. We've lost 3 great people, but they will be remembered by the ones that loved them for eternity. God Speed my brother
