Did Star drop Leblanc? He’s on a Honda for this race.

Probably tried to get Deegan’s motor or something.

John Short was up from again that moto running 4th but then he disappeared. I'm not sure what happened.

Leblanc looked like he charged that whole moto and he was throwing the nastiest whips of the weekend the last 2 laps. He's not slow but he not getting good starts.

Scharer with the holeshot and Baker was second. Baker is riding great but those starts are making his life way easier for sure. Kobusch kept him honest up till about half way then baker started to stretch it out.

Matt is on a bone stock Honda that he got last week and I think he may have rode it twice before pro challenge.

450 Moto 2: Marquier with the holeshot followed by Scharer. Baker came off the start in 4th. Scharer passed Marquier for the lead pretty quick and looked rock solid all moto to take the win. Baker moved into second pretty quickly and kept Scharer honest. Once they got into lappers Baker closed the gap to around 3 seconds but never was able to challenge for the lead. Ryder Floyd had a lonely moto in 3rd. John Short looked like his usual self moving up a few spots through the moto and finishing in 4th!

Short had a MAJOR get off 2nd 250 moto, swapped out on jump #8 which they were at Mach 10 and ejected off the bike on the triple step up, that jump should be called the short-apult as it looked like Reed at Millville. He definitely needs to go buy a lottery ticket tonight.

He should be able to get on a 110 that morning and do better than that. He is a much better rider than a 11-12 at swan, something else must have happened, right?

Interesting fact about Chandler Baker: he too was on a stock bike he had just gotten (I believe he said he had ridden them once or twice each). He had his personal preference bars, holeshot device, and a pro circuit pipe on them. Said he hadn’t gotten the suspension re-valved, touched a clicker, or even set the sag.

Shocked

He's leveling up then! Gonna be a privateer to watch in fantasy next year for sure!

I'm gonna call that jump the short-apult starting now!

Different Jordan Smith, not the one who rode for geico and PC.

Very nice kid though, humble and hard working. That was actually his first pro race. He rode 450 B and Collegeboy at the ranch this summer.

I might have misunderstood, but I swear at the starting line I heard LeBlanc say he had to be up at 4AM Monday morning to start a real job...

He says in this video that he started a job and this is his first time being back home in 8-10 years (he's 18).

Absolutely not, Swan is a track you really have to hang it out on, his bike looked stock and I can’t imagine riding yam all those years and adapting to a different brand without a lot of seat time. Top 10 guys were rolling, I was impressed with Ryder Floyd, dude came from last to 5th 1st 250 moto.
