The question with Cooper has always been how he performs when he doesn't holeshot. He has been known to get a shitty start and ride around in 12th the whole moto. So far so good but lets see how he does tomorrow without a holeshot

All great points, but he’s the only American to win his race today. So far, so good.

He didn't hold shot today. He was 5th or 6th around the first turn and worked his way up.

Yes i agree. Facts are during our nationals when hes mid pack he doesn’t blaze through the field like jett or even joe. Will be interesting tomorrow

Hunter's best lap, and sector times, were faster than Coopers. JC's start is critical.

FWIW Mitch Evans fastest lap in MXGP was faster than 'charging' Tomac's best.

The races are tomorrow though.

I never said anything on here but I’ll admit that he had me worried. We all know he can run quick with a great start but I’m still a bit worried about Justin likely getting a bad start against 450’s throwing him off tomorrow. I really worried we may end up wasting our best gate pick on him and put Eli and Chase behind the eight ball. Strategy really comes into play here.

Right here! And I’ll gladly eat that crow tomorrow if he pulls through for us.

Today he’s looking great…here’s hoping for two decent starts tomorrow and keeping the bike on two wheels. (Same for Chase for that matter).

How about waiting for the actual race to celebrate. Dare i even mention the fact he also won the qualifying race in 2019 only to take himself, JA18, and all our hopes in dreams of winning out the first lap of the first race.

I’m right here. If your new to Motocross de Nations, this was just qualifying today. These aren’t the AMA Nationals, the race is on tomorrow 😂

Looked to me like JC32 had a look in his eyes. Hopefully, if a start doesn't happen, he will prove a few wrong. It's a 3 man team and a lot can happen. With the time differences, even though qualifying, it seems like the US has good speed.

Cooper is sure looking like he wants redemption. So far so good.

I am not a fan of Cooper, but wouldn't say i thought he was the "wrong" pick when compared to Craig. I wanted Anderson or Barcia to ride the 250. Today was impressive, but ultimately does not matter. We will see what happens tomorrow when he has to come through the pack. I hope he does and we crush all three motos.

I don’t think the start will be as hard as people think. Those star bikes are wicked off the start.

Let's wait and see what he does with a lesser start & versus the 450s but I agree, it's the best choice with the cards dealt and without dropping a 450 guy to 250...
