everybody hates em. but it seems like the world just can't live without em.
look at every competitive sport and i guarantee you will find a buttload of sandbagging pussies.
take for instance Golf. not PGA and not so much at the Amateur Championship level. but more the State Championships and Course Championships. it is horrendous.
thing about the golf sandbaggers, is their rep checks out. everyone who signs up has a handicap index that is kept track by the USGA. players are supposed to enter their scores after each and every game they play. i know for a fact people are cheating in this aspect. i have a close personal friend that only enters Tournament scores. he never enters daily rounds or any other rounds. that's cheap. i'm legitimately an 12.3 handicap. not amazing but not horrible. my buddy, that i play with a lot will outplay me almost consistently, but when he enters a tournament, his HC mysteriously drops to an 18. fuck that. i refuse to play a round of golf with him to this day and we are constantly arguing about the validity of the handicap system.
sorry i went off on golf but i was merely trying to show how prominent it is in other sports. but it just sucks that people are like this. i see it all the time in moto, hell, sometimes it's even worse in moto.
i would almost mention that a national ranking system needs to be put in order, but looking at golf, people will just get past that too.
what are some of your guys' suggestions to help alleviate sandbagging? we all know it happens and a lot of people just turn a blind eye to it because it isn't their class.

even motors in the local races are questionable, well, at least when i was racing 80's and 125's there were some questionable people racing.
i guess i get fired up about it because i've seen it all too much.
i had a legit shot at winning a golf tourney not too long ago, in my handicap class i was in the second flight out of 4, and there were 4 guys that all shot under par on their gross scores. they were fucking 12 handicap golfers. pisses me off man.
