No doubt. A local A rider is there who had a best lap of 2:13.

Ever notice the C classes riders are from mostly Non-AMA area's with 0 advancements systems?

you guys are far to quick to judge..... a lot of crap goes down on an mx track.... that C rider may have cut (or been pushed off and forced to cut) a lap to get a 2:09..... you then have to check the rest of his laps..... if he didn't have any other laps faster than lets say a 2:15 or 2:19 or whatever, then you know he cut on one lap and wasn't sandbagging....

Saying Sandbagging and LL's in the same sentence is kind of redundant.

won by over 20seconds to quick to judge? and yes, there were more than one of the kids lap times around the 2:09 mark. wouldnt a rider rather bragg about a 15th in the B class than a first in the C class? i would

You can only race it one year. It's not like you can abuse the class anymore than the ex champions who race the Vet classes. The track does change a lot from race to race though, if they take a break and groom the track heavily for the C class obviously lap times go way down. That track gets crazy rutted and that slows things down a lot.

Josh HIll won the B class the year I was there with faster lap times than Villo and J-law in the A class.

Every district is different as far as level of competition goes.

An A rider from let's say Iowa may be the best of the best in Iowa, but may not be faster than a B or even C rider from a more competitive district in let's say Colorado.

You can't fault somebody for the overall competition in their district, and what that may mena to their advancement through the ranks of classes.

Before I get blown up, I just picked 2 states at random nothing against Iowa and even though I love Colorado I am not sating they are the fastest either.

That is for somebody else to judge.

You mean an Iowa A rider like Justin Brayton (Silver at X games), Chad Pederson (2x Loretta Lynn's Champion 2 digit pro for years), Cody Gilmore (Loretta Lynn's Champ current MX and SX rider), Teddy Maier (Multiple amateure Championships currently racing in Canada) you mean Iowa Turds like that? Or maybe Devin reed( 6th in 1st 450A/ prosport 7 time Loretta Lynn's qualifier, US Open Champion), Gavin Faith (AX racer 250A and 450A LL qualifier), Austin Raub (AX racer +35 LL qualifier 9th in the 1st moto)........... Send out your "C" riders to kick their asses! And by the way the "C" class is the most abused class there is I know some one that has raced for 10 years that is in the "C" class. It should be dropped from ALL National Events!

It was an example, jeez. Read his second post explaining he just said 2 random states.

Man.

How funny is it that Yamabob had to explain himself knowing someone would get their panties in a wad? Sometimes this board is so predictable!

FURTHERMORE, there are so many variables between each moto that can contribute to different lap times between different classes. Lap times schmap times, comparing two different riders on the track at two different times is ludicrous, no matter what class they ride in.

Yamabob- for future reference please do not use the state of Iowa as an example. Maybe use the countries like Kazakhstan and Barbados, at least we probably won't have an expert from those countries chime in and get all defensive!

Who cares about the C class?

If no one protested him in the allotted time period, tough crap. He's either playing by the rules or busted his butt before LL's or is smart enough to not get caught at it.
