I hope they didn't add even more sand to the Redbud track

They added too much sand to the track in 2018 for the MXdN (which made it a mess). As observed in the MX race there this year, the track is finally about right. Don't add MORE sand to it gosh.

What if I told you that sand was the only thing that saved the 2018 event from being a total quagmire.

It's a myth. They only added sand to the start straight in 2018.

Yeah no sand was added to the track in 2018, But being somewhat local I can tell you that when we have a wet fall here in Michigan as we did in 2018, the track gets sandier than normal due to all the runoff.

The sand has been added over time, Tim said that they do it when they want to enhance a section of the track. Well, over time that sand gets drug around the track and you end up with a deeper track when it gets ripped. Us old guys remember how hard packed it was many many years ago.

This year? If it looks to me like if sand went anywhere, it's in the uphill rollers... They look pretty sandy to me.

Track looks very good.

its been beat to death, but they didnt add sand to the track.

The track has a lot already, its just normally raced on during july when its hot and dry not wet and muddy.
