I have an 06 RM250 I’m building, factory connection says the forks are too worn/blemished to do kashima and DLC coating. Hoping someone out there has a set of forks in good condition I could buy. Thanks.

Hey Josh, I don’t think either one of those will work, at least not without other modifications.

The 17 forks will fit with no mods at all.

Front axle is a different size
You’d have to run a 450 front wheel too

Just buy a used set of a kit forks and have them serviced. Will be better better than the stock stuff when setup properly and probably cheaper than paying FC 10 arms and 15 legs for coating stock stuff for purely bling.

Correct. I am running the RMZ forks and front hub/axle, RM triple clamps and wheel spacers on both of my RM's

If could find a set for an RM250 I probably would. I’m having a hard enough time finding a decent set of used forks for this bike, the chances of finding an a kit set of forks are probably slim to none.

I dug a set out that I thought were decent but they're beat up too. One needs a new inner damper rod. Lower tube and lugs look decent though.

Hey man could you email me a little more info on your set up? Not sure how to check PMs here. I think I will have better luck finding a set of rmz forks in good condition, and I am going to buy new wheels for the bike anyways so going with a different hub and axle wouldn’t be a big deal. kdesim289@yahoo.com

Appreciate you checking but I think those are a little worse than mine are.

I got a complete set of forks and shock off a 2005 RM250. They were valved by REP out of New England with only 1hr on the service. I would prob service them as they have been sitting but they are in great shape

If you’d be willing to just sell the forks, can you email some close up pictures of the upper and lower fork tubes? My email is kdesim289@yahoo.com
