“Print” money to eliminate debt? That flies in the face of basic economics and leads directly to runaway inflation. We’re not taking 10 or 15 percent annually; more like 50% monthly.

The debt must be transferred, not magically whisked away.

Couldn't help but notice that the price of a #1 has more than doubled in the last 10-15 years just like the wages though, funny how that works....

Whoa bro, i didn’t say there was anything wrong with being gay. You can gobble all the cocks you want, more power to ya.

The Big Mac reference was to try to make you understand the economics of how this all works. I shoulda realized from your previous posts that I was wasting my time. As the old saying goes “I can fix a lot of things but stupid isn’t one of them.”

Have a good weekend bro, I ain’t mad. Takes all kinds to make the world go ‘round, even less intelligent folk.

We ordered Penn Station for lunch today at work. $6.50 for a large fry!! Potatoes, cut up and dipped in hot grease. For $6.50. It's insane.

Sysco (nationwide restaurant distributor) in AZ has been on strike for 3 weeks (about half the workers are Union, so only about half are on strike).

The drivers make about $100k a year, full benefits (health care, 401k, etc.).

Yes, they have to start at about 3-4am, but they work an 8 hour day and are home every night (not over the road truckers on the road for weeks at a time).

Sysco and the Union have been in negotiations for months (even though they just cut a "deal" last year). But still this week they could not reach a new agreement so still on strike.

Not that those drivers don't work hard, but if you are making $100k a year with full benefits working 40 hours a week and that is not good enough?

No college education debt (debt to be forgiven if your did...), just spend a couple months at a low cost CDL school and you make $$ more than 85% the population.

And everyone wonders why inflation is raging and everything is so expensive. Duh.

Both of my kids work at a local pizza shop. Typical menu pizza, calzones, chicken wings, broasted potatoes etc…… . And almost every night that they work they come home telling us about some degenerate, piece of shit that spends 5 minutes on the phone chewing them out, cussing at them, calling my daughter horrible names because the price of their favorite take out order has gone up considerably.

“Hey asshole, that’s not what they cost two weeks ago!”

Dude, relax…..chill. My high school kid that took your order doesn’t own the place and/or set the prices.

There's no benefit to the injection of the stock market. That money evaporated. Lifting crushing debt off of millions of everyday Americans has real benefit.

You are completely missing the point. When you inject money it doesn’t just affect the economy, it hurts it. You are devaluing your own dollar which at the moment is the most stable globally.

By injecting the money into the market they essentially told the banks to give out loan after loan and “hopped” that would stimulate the economy. Why on earth would the fed want to stimulate the economy? I thought the labor market was strong?

The thing I can’t wrap my head around is that individuals blindly continue forward without doing research and understanding exactly what is happening. The US is in a world of pain right now and these idiots in office just keep spending money like it is nothing. Ask yourself the question why this is happening and get back with me

So, are home mortgages included in your term "crushing debt"?

If not, why?

Afterall, isn't housing considered a fundamental, human right?..

Dont start that shit! We just got our house paid off. Same as with my wifes schooling debt, we saved, cut corners, and did without while many of those around us spend spend spend. Find a way to pay off your own debt as it was intended in the first place. Personal responsibility is an important thing to learn, and if some people need to learn the hard way then so be it. All these free handouts and free money is making people LESS personally responsible, and LESS productive as members of society.

Mortgage is secured against an appreciating asset, not a degree in fuckwittery from a 3rd rate college.

A 7 year-old can "pick their gender".

A 13 year-old can have an abortion and the parents don't need to be informed.

But, an 18 year-old didn't understand what they were doing when they got a student loan.

Got it.

Rarely does politics get discussed out on our jobsites.
That's cable news and internet bullshit.

But this one has.
And it has people on both sides pissed off.
Everyone out here in the real world sinks or swims due to their own skills, work ethic, and most of all, out of their own damn pockets.

Nobody paid for the healthy 6 figures that I have invested, in basically 2 complete cabinet shops.
One at home, and one jobsite set up.
Nobody paid for any of the other tradesmen's tools and equipment either.
Or the vehicles that we buy, and maintain, for our jobs.

Yep.
Everyone is pissed off about the money we're being forced to turn over to pay for this.
