Hi everyone, I own a 2005 kx125 and want to put a set of xtrig clamps on it, but I am unsure of how to do this. I have a set of xtrig clamps on my 4 stroke and love them, which Is why I really want to do this.

Cheers

Trick Engineering makes a steering stop adapter that will help out.

Well, install their steering stop adapter and the Xtrig (or whatever modern four stroke clamp) will then fit on the frame. May need the older stem length, but thats readily available. Not sure if the fork tube diameters are the same, so you'll need to sort that out. But it's a good start.

Yeah I know about the trick eng steering stop. I want to know if someone knows how to do this swap.

Cool, Thanks DB. What year clamps have you got and are your forks the original size?

Your original kx125 forks are bigger on the top clamp. You can’t use the clamps with stock forks unless you have the top clamp bored. Easier to find newer kxf forks.

Brakes and front wheel fit fine. Have to use the newer fender and front plate.

One last thing. What year 250f forks are the best to use. What year clamp and forks did you use?
