Excellent question, Fallguy0046. We need to get to the bottom of this. LOL
I believe you're right. I remember seeing it in 2007, but have only found a few photos including these two pictures of Ricky Carmichael at milleville and James at washougal, with a different colorway of the same gear, in 2007 wearing it. Thatwould have been June and August, which meant it was probably 2008 drops.

Still have the set in really good shape. Broke it out last summer. Crazy how much heavier and baggy the gear was back then. Like the new stuff is made of tissue paper

Reminds me of an Affliction shirt. That was an odd era for gear, but the 2009 Thor Core line is timeless.

That Thor gear is my favorite gear line ever. They could make their modern gear with that design and I would love it.
