But if you look at the points scored in the last 7 events Toendel only scored 1 win and a 3rd, and was 5th in points scored.

From what I was told, dad wants total control over their training and bike setup, and that is not sitting well
With some guys who write the checks.

But Lucas is damn fast, that kid has some big talent.

I remember when they were on 85s they were working with Topsport vlaanderen , i'm not sure but i think Joel Smets was one of the trainers back then. Also Liam Everts and Geerts were in the same program.

The reason they "broke up" with Bud is that KTM bought the 4 remaining years of the Bud Contract off and gave them a 5 year contract themselves with the KTM Group. But from what I've heard it has been interesting this past months because Yamaha was there to put a lot of cash on the table to end the KTM Group contract from Lucas. But because STAR Racing has Deegan in the pipeline and some other youngsters and KTM nothing it seemed more obvious to stay. If I was them I would race two seasons in the MX2 class (2023 and 2024) and between 2023 and 2024 work on SX skills in the USA with someone like Kervela who works with Jo Shimoda or someone else who can learn them the basics... Lucas is always been the bigger one and is a bit faster in development but Sascha is that kind of kid that is used to working hard to catch up and I think with that mentality he will get at least also a great Grand Prix and/or AMA Rider.

About their Dad, I've never heard a bad thing about him but it hasn't been easy for him having a twin racing on high level means you can't give one bike to the younger one and buy a new one to the older one. So him being a bit of a control freak wouldn't surprise me, hopefully that goes away when he sees that they are in good care.
