DMC or TUF racing?

My 1986 KX125, First bike I bought new.. worked the previous summer delivering papers to pay for it.. I did not get close to earning enough money to buy a new bike, but I was mauled by a dog and that delivering papers and that money was enough for the Bike and a $1000 Pick Up

I raced in 1984 on a kx125, bone stock it was super fast, so fast that the 1st race of the year Todd Dehoop ask to take my bike for a test run down the back area at Dutch Sport Park and he let me take his Yamaha for a spin also. We bought a Tuf racing kit in August of 84 which was $500, it came with a PSI pipe, ported cylinder, fork springs and some other add ons I don't remember as my sponsor Centennial Kawasaki installed it. After the kit was installed I holeshot everytime and walked away from most everyone.

DMC fricken ruled, if you wanted to drive to track, sign up and launch off the gate knowing the checkered flag or pro pay window was your bitch on a KX125 in the 80's Dave Millers pipe alone gave you a head start!

I had an 88 KX 125 with Tuff racing plastics and a few goodies on it. I have no pictures of the bike finished, a buddy did snap a photo of me racing it unfinished. I usually do that, buy a bike race or ride it and then fix it up. I had to sell it, gotta pay for college ya know, it aint free.

If you waited to pay that loan off until 2022 Biden would have paid your bill and you could have kept your bike
