Redbull set new standards when they came into F1 because they are not a car company so everyone laughed and said they would be back of the pack. Next think you know they have 4 world championships with Vettel and now Verstappen will more than likely have at least 2 with more to come, it sure shut up all the other teams and turned Horner into the god of F1. Its been way to long for Ferrari but their arrogance makes people hope they lose and they have been. Sad and to top it off they have the best driver in F1 in Verstappen.

Happy that it’s anyone but Hamilton
Hopefully the commentator will not bang on about Hamilton and not mention other drivers
Good for George Russell

F1 has changed hugely even the drivers aren’t allowed to talk to press without their nanny present

Alonso is having a better season good for him

Happy for George, although the car was set-up for one fast lap (as were the other 19). Not sure Merc has found pace for 90 minutes, although RB spotting them multiple positions may provide the gap needed to land on the podium, perhaps even the top spot if Scuderia has not solved its reliability issues. Which include Charles…

Hungary offers only a few passing opportunities w/o DRS. Christian should ask Max & Checo to think “big picture” and focus on a consistent, safe first 20 laps. Yes, it will be frustrating to follow slower cars, but RB will find their way to the top 5 if they stick to the plan.

Looks like the top dogs are starting of softs. This is gonna be good!

Impressive from merc. I was wondering if Russell was going to be swamped by the two ferraris on the first lap but obviously not.

Ferrari 🤡

You can't compete with teams like Redbull with such awful decisions being made

I had Max for a podium, but certainly not the win.

Great drive.

What a shitshow Ferrari is...

I defended Ferrari last time but putting the hard tyres on Leclerc was really dumb, every team was struggling to find pace with them. This will be nothing like last season, the package RedBull+max+good strategy is head and shoulders above the rest.

Hamilton is an insufferable woke but damn is he a good driver.

Mercedes looks to have their car working well. They’ll have a good run after the break. Like y’all said those were impressive drives today by Verstappen and Hamilton.

Why was “soon to be retired” Vettel racing his teammate Stroll so hard for 10th place?

Verstappen now leads the championship by 80 points and Red Bull leads the constructor's championship by 97 points.

Just 5 points separating Leclerc in 2nd (178pts.) and Perez (173pts.) in 3rd.

4. Russell 158pts.
5. Sainz 156pts.
6. Hamilton. 146pts.

Once again, any F1 race that isn't a one stop race, is a good one.

Helluva drive by Max on those tires.
Especially after spinning on them.

You gotta think there's a redbull fox in the Ferrari strategy henhouse.

Fun race to watch with the different strategies playing out. Ooof Ferrari, what can be said? Great tire management for max and RB. Mercedes looked pretty good, But I can’t help but think the woes are not over. That car does really well with tire degradation, but takes much longer to get in the window for operating temps. Next year that will be a problem.

Just sitting here hoping McLaren figures it out. Great pass by Danny boy to get both Alpines, but I always believe they should be fighting for podiums

Race day eve must be tough for Toto Wolf and Christian Horner to fall asleep. Every race weekend is like the night before Christmas, both team mangers wondering what gifts Ferraris gonna hand out on race day. Silly Silly

It wouldn't bother me as much if Ferrari had a bad car but they have arguably the best car on the grid and RedBull and Mercedes are making Ferraris race engineers and Mattia Binotto look like amateurs. Blush

Alonso signed a multi year deal with Aston

Massive shock.

Piastri would have to be almost a certainty to get the Alpine drive.

Which paves the way for Williams to possibly sign Sargent to Williams to be the first American on the grid for some time which will be cool.

I just read that.
Not sure that's anything more than a sideways move at best.
It's obvious he's not too keen on his current teammate.
But just wait 'til he has to deal with little stroll

And so much for Vettel politicking for MSC to take his place.

I agree about it being sideways at best.
If I had to guess. Alpine were only offering him a 1 year deal.
So I think the term was the kicker for his shift.
Alonso will absolutely smoke Stroll IMO

I never thought the Schumacher deal would happen as that would mean he would have to cut ties with Ferrari.

does Max drive in safe mode or go for a few more wins? seems like last year he was hell-bent on winning every round, this year he seems to take what comes to him. either way, 2 titles in 2 years is going to be great for him.

i like Char, but Sainz seems to me like the clear leader of that team. it's too bad the team has let him down multiple times this year. i could see him as a serious title contender next season.
i guess i got my answer, Max is a special breed of driver. great strategy by RedBull.

I wouldn't call it sideways going from the 4th best team to the 9th but he will be getting paid big time to do it and will be a huge asset to the team in developing a better car because Stroll Jr is worthless in helping make a better car, and would rather be surfing than becoming a better F1 driver. I wonder how long Stroll Sr will hold on to the team when Jr isn't a driver.

Aren’t the Aston Martin cars widely considered the worst in the paddock? Is this a good driver going to a bad team? Maybe it’s time for Stroll, Sr to step out to be replaced by Michael Andretti as a F1 team owner. The results couldn’t be any worse.
