J.Cooper mid-practice bike adjustment?

Not familiar with Yamaha’s…
During practice camera showed J. Cooper pulling into mechanics area. Mechanic pulled off the front part of seat (I believe that’s the gas tank access) and used a screw driver to make some sort of adjustment…. To what though? Is the ECU accessible from there? Screenshot below

Most likely the ECU.

They are installing JS7's factory ECU so he can beat the Hunter brothers.

Yep most likely Ecu and tuning the power in. From what I have heard J Coop likes a ton of hit in his bikes engine. Where as someone like J Mart says he likes it smoother because he is more on/off throttle wise. Always love hearing that stuff.

They use GET, and he already threw down a fast lap so it isn’t switching to single injector setting. The bike would run like shit

They do not use GET. They use Vortex. And that’s how you reach the map clicker for the Vortex ECU on a Yamaha if you’re not running a handlebar switch.

They use vortex. And you can switch to a single injector map if theres an issue with the second injector. Yes bike would run like crap hence why you would be able to switch. But more than likely switching the low mid high on the box

After getting his ass kicked all season by the Lawrence brothers, they went to a balls adjuster. Just turning it up to go faster
