Eli is in a completely different mindset with Star. Sure, beast mode was always there. But we had stressed, no smiles Eli, we also had inconsistent and bizarre Elito Mac. Kawi being too rigid to rider input/changes had to be a huge factor.

There is no denying that Eli has gelled with Star....that never really happened at Kawi.
That’s a lot of ifs.

Kawi’s big mistake was getting rid of Gilmour he’s the Tomac whisperer.

but Tomac, when he hits that 6th gear....I dont know if ive seen more impressive racing. In 2015 on his Geico honda, the shit he did at Glen helen and lapping 3rd at Hangtown blew my mind and i dont know if RC or Stew could do that,

but a race between all three would be all time
He did not lap 3rd!

Lapped up to 10th in moto 1 and 9th in moto 2. His ride was legendary enough without making up complete bullshit.

I'd have to say that like both RC and JS7, Eli has elevated both the physicality and speed of motocross and supercross for this generation. That alone make him legendary.

Many good years ahead of him. I have my fingers crossed.

Yeah I'm hoping he changes his mind.

I fuckin love watching him ride when he's on, it's so much anger coupled with all these little mtb techniques and a wfo throttle. Pretty unique.
"MTB techniques". You nailed it. Feet on the pegs always and just supreme balance skills, rarely dabbing the foot, or taking a foot off mid jump for swag. Just pure solid technique.

I thought it was telltale when Daddy T said, oh yes you can teach speed.

Got to get out to see him this year before he hangs it up outdoors. Its like trying to see your favorite band on their very last world tour for only 700 bucks less.

Big Thanks to Johnny T

LMAO. J Sloan deleted his post that I quoted and responded to....so my post disappeared too.

What is with constantly deleting your own posts man?

From now on, I think I'll just copy the text from his posts if I'm responding and enter them directly without the quote feature.

Classic move when he gets proven to be wrong or sounds stupid. Guy is a loser.

Here's a good one. He started a thread in non-moto asking to get rid of the delete button, so that when you post something you have to stand by your word.

I told him that coming from him it didn't mean much seeing as he deletes more of his own posts than anyone else and that even Michael questioned if he should quote one of his post or if he was just going to continue deleting his own posts.

Went to check on it...

Thread disappeared. Grinning
