MXGP: Hamish Harwood
MX2: Brodie Connonly
Open: Josiah Natzke

Reserve Rider: Rhys Carter

Team managers Bevan Weal and Shayne King said - "With a record number of expressions of interest this year it was a difficult team to put together and especially due to the Covid vaccination rules entering the USA but we both feel we have selected one of the strongest teams to represent our country".

"We are delighted to be able to support these riders and the management through this campaign after such an absence through ‘global challenges’ said Mike Kerrisk, General Manager of Motorcycling New Zealand. ‘The team shows a great blend of youth, experience and obvious ability, we wish them all the very best and know they will represent well"

The MXoN will be held at the Red Bud Motocross Park, Buchanan, Michigan USA on the 24/25th September.

No Walsh or Purvis? Also on the topic of Purvis, does anyone here know what he's doing? Been looking for info on him for like a year now and can't seem to find anything, his last Instagram post was almost a year ago. I'm assuming he's planning to race the NZ nationals?

Has anyone else ever ridden for 2 different nations at the MXoN? (Aside from the Americans that rode for PR)

Calvin Vlaanderen I believe has ridden for both SA and the Netherlands...It used to happen quite a bit back in the day as riders rode for the countries that they had there license in and not always for the country they were from...I want to say that both Billy Likes and Trampas Parker rode for other countries than the US.

Parker for Italy and Liles for Luxembourg if I remember correctly.

Some riders have some vax travel issues , USA requires Non citizens to have it to get into the country

the rules are now you have to hold the passport of the country you ride for , Walsh holds both British and now NZ Passports, a few years back he had to withdraw from the MXDN team due to not having a nz passport even tho he was a citizen, he had always just travelled on his UK passport,

I don’t think he will end up on it personally. I would think mewse will end up there (even if he’s riding a 450 in mxgp). Gotta think 450 would go to Tommy/Simpson/anstie/Watson/gilbert before Walsh.

So you think what i said isnt true?
We have Anstie, Wilson, Watson, Mewse , Simpson and possibly Searle to call on.
If you arent picking 3 of the first 4 we wont be on the box.

Walsh can ride for NZ, and he would be a good pick for them.

I think it's a miracle they get on the box with any of those riders . Strange things happen at the mxdn . Pray for rain .

Yeah and I mean no disrespect. They're good riders I just think an mxdn podium would be an over achievement for them .

What do you think the chances are of GB getting a podium this year? I think I'd give Norway a better chance of getting on the box than GB to be honest.
