Ever since the US started getting annihilated at des nations it seemed our guys were getting beat by that feet on the pegs/stand everywhere style of the euro guys. Its looking to me like Sexton and Anderson are as technically sound and fast as any other countries top guys outdoors, even though they spend half the year riding sx. May be national pride taking over, but I cant imagine anyone having en edge over these two currently. Simply phenomenal riding. Anyone else share the same optimism?

Who knows whether the gap has been closed but Sexton and Anderson look amazing right now. On this day and track, I personally think they could be a match for anyone!
Barcia, Anderson, Justin Cooper etc have all done well at the MXDN - if there was this 'massive gap' then that simply wouldn't be the case. The top guys in both series are broadly speaking all very close, with certain conditions favouring one or the other on the day. That's a boring conclusion but in reality it was the truth back in the mid 00s and it's pretty much the truth now.
The euros are only better when everything is their way I guess
he hasn't won a title since 2017 and finished 6th o/a last year
I guess TG or JH would be a better comparison but they would both just hurt themselves trying to keep up anyways
