Comments about seeing him on a Kawasaki and Yamaha in Florida may not be wrong. I heard over the weekend at the race that Ferry may have bought one of each to try out.
So he left without having signed something new? Or was his contract up which seems strange in the middle of the year. What happened there?

Would love to hear the full story about this. But doubt we ever will , seems a big call to leave the ktm group with nothing set up , even with their lack of success in 250s

Timmy would have the connections and the backing to go it alone if needed I presume

Saw one at Tim's instagram ... but leaving Husqvarna?! Maybe KTM should get more involved in Amateurscene, if shizzle didn't go side ways with Bobby Hewitt, he could've been the "last stop team" before turning pro. He knows both scenes but the KTM Group needed to screw that relation up. Wasn't that because he didn't had a say in recruiting amateurs and new signings, that he just said: Buy me out, I'm gone.

everyone in the top 10 in the 250 class is a factory guy more or lesss

dont think hes that bad. setting the world on fire? no..but hes still young

The new contract wasn’t offering a deal to turn pro. Apparently he had to meet some goals to be guaranteed a pro contract.

As far as I would guess, this bike's a one-off. Beautiful build, but not even sure why you'd want to do that.
