Thought I’d put up a pic of my Jeep. I took it out last weekend for the first time after I built it this winter. Still have a few things to do until it’s done.

2004 prerunner. 2wd.
Mostly road, with 265/70r 16 defenders all around.
Stock ride ht with bilstein 5100's

But lots of forest service and gravel roads in N.C.
In the winter I have an extra set of rear wheels with the same size BFG all terrains.
Snow cables for snow, but didn't use at all this winter.
Locking the rear end gets me around about as well as I need. Nothing too steep.
And still with decent gas mileage.

It's crazy how many times people ask about me selling the truck.

Haha…it’s been mostly a go to high school vehicle (for my daughters), a grocery getter, some light duty 4x / exploring (forest or blm land) or going to Folsom lake to hang out for an evening on the shoreline.

Bought it 4 years ago - stock ‘01 Wrangler 4.0L straight 6 - automatic.

Updates:
2 inch spacer lift, wheels, 31’s, off-road lights (the little baja designs work really well), LED replacement headlights, hard top, cheap kenwood receiver and speakers.

I did use 4x4 3 times on the way back from South Dakota on this new(old) recent addition. Keeping this thing ('03 F250) stock other than mild stuff. Adding a backup camera and a couple sizes (265/75-16 --> 285/75-16) larger on the stock wheels down the road. Those maroon / autumn colors really do a great job of showing the pollen this time of year! Smile

A side by side with or pic towing jeep is on deck.

Since I started this thread I’ve gotten my tire deflators adjusted and dialed in at 18psi (starting point) an arb compressor with digital gauge, “anytime” front / rear view camera, and got it up on 33’s and new shocks from Baja HQ in San Juan today. Rock sliders and some more underbelly skid plates and I’m done (for now anyway) Laughing

Thanks man ! I'm looking forward to hitting up some (Semi) Laughing harder trails. We've a couple ideas brewing. We want to check out the reward mine, that's the one you can drive into, and the Burro Schmidt tunnel. Our in laws did it in their jeep. It looks creepy and cool at the same time lol

Probably, I try not to think about. It’s a 2009, and over 13 years including the price of the Jeep, I am sure it’s over 80k.Silly Silly only thing left to do, is a LS swap. Grinning Grinning Grinning

Drooling over the trucks in their shop is worth the price of admission. Badass x 10

Bad boy toys aren't cheap. No one likes to admit it but yes bikes can approach 20k and nice trucks can be 100K +. That's the cost of building something badass.

That is a sweet Jeep you built there. In that last photo it looks like a Stomper.

For those old enough, does anyone remember Stompers? Ever get it caught one your cat's tail?
