Spring coated. Will send the damaged case half out to be welded and machined tomorrow.. start assembling parts finally in the next week or so. Stainless spokes and nipples should be here in a few days.

Shocks done, cerakoted body and spring. Vapor blasted clevis and bladder cap. Zinc plated collars and pre load adjusters. Fully rebuilt with new bladder/bumper/seal head/bushing. Love the transformation. Forks will be getting assembled by the weekend.

Forks are done. Rear wheel laced with stainless spokes and nipples. I dont like how the forks came out at all, i normally do a clear coat but they cured faster than normal due to wind getting through my paint tent and the clear coat didnt adhere. But live and learn. I probably wont cerakote another set of forks until my shop is built and i have a legit paint booth and large oven.

Well this was a pain in the ass.. totally worth it though as i couldnt find a raw pipe anywhere and i hate plated pipes. Popped some dents out with air and heat, Acid stripped all the plating off, then i vapor blasted to just give me a clean fresh surface, sanded on a bench grinder, sanded some more, hand sanded with scotch brite, torch the welds and we got a make shift works pipe.

I would contact FMF and see if they would sell you badge to weld on. If not, find some mangled pipe on ebay or somewhere cheap. Or just run it how it is. I did somewhat same thing to my PC (RM125) pipe, but luckily it was only painted black so I didn't have to strip plating, just paint.

I sanded the logo off, its not a badge. They make some with tacked on badges that i could use but i much prefer the look without it

Oem kickstart refinished, removed alot of material, added some back with tig, sanded the shit out of it, looks pretty “custom” i really like how it came out pictures dont do it justice honestly. Zinc plated knuckle and hardware. New spring and ball for that solid “click”

Love your attention to detail, what did you use to straighten out the radiators?

Just some blocks of wood and a hammer, kind of prop it up on either end with some wood and block of wood where its bowed and hit it in opposite direction of bow of course. Pretty easy.

Got front wheel mounted, fork plastic on, bars and sole controls etc. kind of running out of work to do.. case should be back from being welded hopefully by next weekend. Bike should be done in a few weeks tops. Excited to start my next project, pretty big plans for it. To think the first time i ever bought a 4wheel or a dirtbike/ wrenched on one ever was only a little over a year ago.

Petcock zinc plated, rad hoses on, tank cleaned up. Impatiently waiting for the case to come back from machine shop.
