All 36H front rims the same? Need a gold Excel for 1990 CR500

As the title says, I'm building a wheelset for a 1990 CR500. Regarding the front wheel, I understand the hub and spokes are different starting in 1995. I have the spokes sorted through Buchanan, but they don't have the gold rim available. Does anyone know if the newer front rims will fit the older Honda? I'm looking at the ICG408 front rim. Is the hole pattern the same? Thanks.

Are the lacing patterns the same?

That's what I'm not sure about. Based on the OEM spoke lengths, the 1990 front spoke lengths are 229.5mm and 231.0mm and the 1995-on spoke length is 240mm. The aftermarket front rims on most sites only show 95-on, so I'm not sure if those fit the pre-95 Hondas. I would imagine they would work, but I'll probably have to ask a wheel build company, as b8res suggests.

Not Excell but Full Circle Racing can probably fix you up. It will have their name on it. I just bought a set for a 1985 KX125. nice rims.
