When the Presidential election comes down to 51% one side vs 48% to the other side can you really say that the winning side was really that successful? (Not even touching on inverse popular vote election)
In my lifetime I've observed the country being in a better spot when D presidents leave office ('00, '16) vs when R presidents leave office ('92, '08, '20), you could argue for '88 but I was only 6 and it wasn't a changeover.

Abortion, Drug use legalization crack pipes and drug shooting centers. Homeless issues, viewing everything through the prisms of race, gender, sexual orientational discrimination, The old if you look hard enough everyone has dirt under the fingernail technique.

Again we need serious people to deal with the issues this country faces now and in the future.
