Last year he was fast and won a few times but suffered what looked like a lack of fitness and some mental breakdowns that kept him from the title. This year he has the total package and is for the first time ever is the top guy in the class.
I am not even a Craig fan, I was all in for Colt to win last year. What I do not get is all the negativity being thrown at him this season. In the end he will likely end up with 2 strong years in the 250 class and then move up next year.

He has dealt with a ton as far as injuries are concerned. Yet here you are, downplaying everything he has gone through when you have zero actual experience of it. Because he is on one size bike versus the other. But please, continue to push down this road.
Seeing them after the night's over...hanging out and taking care of fans...at 10:30...11pm...when his night was over at 9:30...Both of them smiling and engaged with the fans. That's kinda refreshing these days.
And, I really get a kick out of "The Poor Little Rich Kids" shit that gets thrown her way/their way when all she's doing is sharing what THEY went through and...last time I checked...EVERYONE SEEMS TO BITCH THAT THEY WANT TO HEAR MORE FROM THESE PEOPLE ABOUT "The Real Stuff" that 's going on...?
Well, when they deliver, y'all STILL BITCH.
Here's some simple facts:
1. This dude broke the living shit out of his back...and came back to race after that.
2. He retired and did the 9-5 thing for a coupl'a years...and came back to race after that.
3. He's been kicking ASS since he came back.
4. He's one of...if not THE...Fastest Guys in The Whoops.
5. He's pretty much "an open book" with the fans...seems to me his wife is, too.
Me? I'm just a fan of the sport and appreciate them for how they handle themselves and how they seem to love life.
I'm jus' sayin'...
That said, these segments are not for folks who know the sport but those who are casual or new fans.
There is no move up b/c your are “X” old rule that I know of
He hasn’t sand bagged the points to “stay back” another year
He is not “taking anyone’s spot”. When you are the fastest you earn the spot. Teams decide their own make up,youth to experience ratio. Let’s not forget they want titles so “someone” has to be the title contender
Not sure where the logic comes from that you are sandbagging the 250 PRO class when you have every right to be in it
It is a stepping stone class but he hasn’t been forced to step up nor is he being recruited to step up, so why would he?
Would you do that in your job just to make room for the younger kids? It’s the way of the world, you gotta look out for no 1 (yourself) because no one else is…
Pit Row
Salute to all the pro riders who are living our dreams.
I also fail to see his point with the "nobody has had a career like me".
He came back from big injuries, but he's not the only one. Left the sport and came back to win races, again he's not the only one. Not only that, but he came back to a factory ride because of who he's married to.
Barcia, Wilson, Malcolm, etc. all had to put their own efforts together to earn back a ride.
Not denying his talent, but the whole adversity thing is laid on pretty thick, IMO.
What does the winner get for his effort?
That’s just one of them. Broke his femur at Washougal from coming back from a broken femur if I remember correctly.
