Dude I know for a fact that Christian is only 23 years old. They proved it last night.

Haha. Nice. But you got my point. Nobody talking about blose in 250 class. Ironic.

Alright man if Craig wants to feel good about his championship this year he will win against 20 something year olds by all means have at it. I for one would not feel good about that. Just because the rules are the rules doesnt make it right morally or ethically. He knows he should not be in that class. I remember when i raced beginner and whooped everyones ass by like 20 seconds not even trying i moved up to novice next weekend. All you are doing is hiding behind the "rules" instead of looking at the reality.
You're judging morals (and ethics) because of a professional athlete's decision to try and have a successful/profitable career?

So what Craig has been in the class longer than the kids. Until 2021 he had 1 career win.

Last year he was fast and won a few times but suffered what looked like a lack of fitness and some mental breakdowns that kept him from the title. This year he has the total package and is for the first time ever is the top guy in the class.

I am not even a Craig fan, I was all in for Colt to win last year. What I do not get is all the negativity being thrown at him this season. In the end he will likely end up with 2 strong years in the 250 class and then move up next year.

God man all you do is dumb everthing down with zero logic. I have no hate against Craig i used to cheer for his dad back in the day. I just dont feel its right for him to take a potentional championship away from the 3 kids i listed. Example when craig turned pro in eitther 09 or 10 his competion was Canard, Wiemer, Dungey, Seely all around his experience level and age. Why cant that make sense to you at least?

Thats because going through injuries while a team funds your way while being a pro supercross racer is called first world problems. Mostly everyone with a normal job and life has experienced 'Real" adversity. Homlessness, divorce, money problems ect.
How do you compare the two? Since when did the Craigs mention anything along those lines? They merely speak of the situation being a difficult road professionally. The guy literally was paralyzed for a night and has a fuzed back.

He has dealt with a ton as far as injuries are concerned. Yet here you are, downplaying everything he has gone through when you have zero actual experience of it. Because he is on one size bike versus the other. But please, continue to push down this road.

Coming into this season Craig only had like 45 starts on a 250. There have been plenty of people with way more starts than him. He’s just had a unique career that’s had mostly fill-in rides and time off for lots of reasons.

Oh man, it would be so sick if Jmart and CC win titles this year. Combined age of 60 or so. The complainers’ heads will explode.

Can peacock and nbc relax with the Craig fam documentary like you want to show it 1 time at a1 go ahead but we don't need to see it every fucking week dude. Also, Paige your dad wipes his ass with $100 bills let's not act like you were in the dumps

Agreed on seeing it so much. On the flip side, it is pretty cool to see how much she cares. They are good people.
I dunno...

Seeing them after the night's over...hanging out and taking care of fans...at 10:30...11pm...when his night was over at 9:30...Both of them smiling and engaged with the fans. That's kinda refreshing these days.

And, I really get a kick out of "The Poor Little Rich Kids" shit that gets thrown her way/their way when all she's doing is sharing what THEY went through and...last time I checked...EVERYONE SEEMS TO BITCH THAT THEY WANT TO HEAR MORE FROM THESE PEOPLE ABOUT "The Real Stuff" that 's going on...?

Well, when they deliver, y'all STILL BITCH.

Here's some simple facts:
1. This dude broke the living shit out of his back...and came back to race after that.
2. He retired and did the 9-5 thing for a coupl'a years...and came back to race after that.
3. He's been kicking ASS since he came back.
4. He's one of...if not THE...Fastest Guys in The Whoops.
5. He's pretty much "an open book" with the fans...seems to me his wife is, too.

Me? I'm just a fan of the sport and appreciate them for how they handle themselves and how they seem to love life.

I'm jus' sayin'...

I bet it kinda stings when she clowns the haters.

That said, these segments are not for folks who know the sport but those who are casual or new fans.

If the AMA and Field would step up and make the lites class a true pro class, no east/west, full series with all it's glory then it wouldn't matter anymore how old CC (or anyone else) is. This is what the class should be, full on pro! There futures class they now have should be what the beginners are riding in.

Yea we know. Do we need to see the same story multiple times though? We heard this story last year and multiple times already this year. There has to be another story in the pits to tell us all.

How about no stories or fabricated drama and just racing? Seems like a lost concept these days.

Can someone explain why they believe Craig shouldn’t be in the 250 class per the rule book?

There is no move up b/c your are “X” old rule that I know of

He hasn’t sand bagged the points to “stay back” another year

He is not “taking anyone’s spot”. When you are the fastest you earn the spot. Teams decide their own make up,youth to experience ratio. Let’s not forget they want titles so “someone” has to be the title contender

Not sure where the logic comes from that you are sandbagging the 250 PRO class when you have every right to be in it

It is a stepping stone class but he hasn’t been forced to step up nor is he being recruited to step up, so why would he?
Would you do that in your job just to make room for the younger kids? It’s the way of the world, you gotta look out for no 1 (yourself) because no one else is…

Sounds like someone in the pits is jealous.

Isn’t his brother or half brother one of the head guys at star as well? Jeremy Coker. Point being he’s been on great equipment since before he retired and since he’s came back. I fail to understand the whole “nobody’s had a career like me” crap. Canard had way gnarlier injuries and titles 🤷🏻‍♂️

Welcome to 2022 where everybody is soft and common sense doesnt exist anymore. I fully agree but you will get shouted down for saying anything negative about the Craig darlings. Canard had twice the career as Craig and suffered way more possible career ending injuries. Craig is like Hansen lots of talent been on great equipment full of excuses and an army of people supporting them.

He races in a pro class by the rules. If he wins a title, he’s in the Moto history books with a fat bonus. Besides you, who the fuck doesn’t want it?

Salute to all the pro riders who are living our dreams.

So have Pourcel and Doug Henry.

I also fail to see his point with the "nobody has had a career like me".

He came back from big injuries, but he's not the only one. Left the sport and came back to win races, again he's not the only one. Not only that, but he came back to a factory ride because of who he's married to.

Barcia, Wilson, Malcolm, etc. all had to put their own efforts together to earn back a ride.

Not denying his talent, but the whole adversity thing is laid on pretty thick, IMO.

They are using personalities to sell the sport. It’s called promoting… see boxing, mma, nfl etc

It's pro racing. If he meets the requirements for being in the class it's not sand bagging.

I don’t think that’s really the point in this post. More so he’s really been through nothing too crazy and he thinks he’s the biggest come back story to ever happen in moto. Like Mav said, pourcel and Henry came back from much worse. I think everybody is tired of the Craig sob story. At this point I’d rather listen to Jett hype every weekend
