By now a comparison of Vortex, GET, AIM and whoever else is there would be neat.
One of the best features, IMO, is that with the AiM ECU, you have the ability to connect directly to the machine CAN. When you add an external data logger to the ECU and then tie it into the CAN network, you get some REALLY powerful data that can transform how the ECU needs tuned for optimal performance.
Heck, with the CAN data, you can take it a step further by using on of the available analog input channels to throw a rear wheel speed sensor on the bike (cough-cough Honda) which can be used as a cross-check with the CAN data that the traction control correction maintenance (RPM/sec) parameter is making the right adjustments under acceleration. YES, DYNAMIC traction control via a real-time adjustments through either the ignition advance offset and/or the fuel injector phase offset.
This is Factory level technology being adapted for use to the average consumer. If you're a technology / data / tuning nerd, this is the holy grail in terms of the hardware and systems they are tying together for public retail.
