Motor Done by Tom Morgan if your interested I can give you the full build info.
I had a different target (96-98) and looked for quite a while, mostly using FB marketplace.
I was surprised at the consistent number of options. The market also seems to be adjusting itself back to normal a little bit (prices seem to be coming down a little, and overpriced options stay on the market a long time).
The bike from Texas posted above is representative of the fully done up options out there, and is priced about the same as comparative bikes 'round here. The type of bike you are looking for can range from an $800 basketcase to those $6,000 all original or resto-mods.
For what it's worth, talking from experience, you are going to end up sinking well over $1,000 into parts to bring a bike of that age back to life (I dropped $700 just like that in suspension refresh supplies, $300 or $400 into controls refreshes, and I ignored chain and sprockets, tires, and ANYTHING cosmetic [graphics and plastics can add up to $400 or $500 REAL quick]) even if you don't really think you will.
Having gone through the process of buying a not necessarily basketcase bike and refreshing it, I now understand the pricing of the "already done up" options. They are not so ridiculous as they first seem.
