Guys did the first top end on our 85 today. Gotta admit this dang pv arm got me today. I’m gonna try to add a photo but how do you remove the arm from the pv? I see videos of people prying them off. Mine has a lock like clip. That’s next to impossible to get in and out. What did I do wrong other than dropping it in the motor. 🤣. Part 12 is it.

That little clip pops out a little and then slides downward to come out.

I get how it works. But what’s the best way to put it back in.

Slide it up in the slot and then push it into its groove to lock it in. Always stick a rag in the hole below to prevent loosing it in the bottom end.

I don’t have an 85 so im not sure what that is. I just know that my 250s use that same rod and clip design in their power valve also.

That is a QR code that must be used in the production line. They all have it and it gets burned or cleaned off after some time.
