Man, Florida must be awesome. Laughing

Let's try to imagine installing some bright, LED track lights around your track in California:
CARB: "Glad you chose LED, but your bike emits too much exhaust" -DENIED
EPA: "The rare, red-tailed whatsitsname requires absolute dark at night to thrive in nature, and your property is the only known habitat." -DENIED
Municipal Code: "Your property falls under the codes of the local HOA down the street, even though you are not a member and they don't own your property." -DENIED
State of CA: "Governor Newsom is displeased. Pay 10% higher taxes now, just for asking." -DENIED

Shittiest thing about FL is that there is no elevation variance in most of the state so it's completely flat and boring terrain wise. Sucks for woods riding and even most MX tracks there are just built on flat ground and you can't get the same type of experience that you might get say at glen Helen In CA or NHMX in New Hampshire. I hated living in FL but where I lived there wasn't alot of tracks near by in South Florida. I'd be interested to hear if any tracks in Northern FL do have elevation changes?

I’m in Florida and work in the lighting/electrical industry. I could help you out, to do it right it will be pricey. I have multiple vendors I could I could get you in touch with. Just let me know.

Just put up lights around a new 100x150 horse riding arena and did all the work myself because the electrician we usually use was backed up 8 weeks.

Rented a mini ex and ran all the conduit. Set 35' poles with my skidsteer, and rented a scissor lift to hang the lights. Total cost was under $5k.

Because the leds require so much less power it is pretty simple.

A lot smaller wire, and you could probably run lights for a decent size night track on 50 amps of power

Likewise, put up 12 - 300 watt LED floodlights for our horse arena couple years ago.
Electrician had done several previously and had used lights from LEDMyplace, so I ordered from them.
Still working fine.

Each light fixture was about $250 and free shipping.

Is Hard Rock Cycle Park still around? Decent enough elevation changes there.

Should be someone who sets up for rodeo style lighting around like previously mentioned. I wonder if your track is near me. I have been lucky enough to always get invited to private tracks around here probably because i help maintain but off the bike a few years. I was lucky enough to ride FTT and 74 family fun park a year before they ever opened and helped with design ideas. DKC was my daily with 3 other guys for years. I pass a beautiful track built by pro track builders on the way to my farm. I just got an almost showroom 19 Alta mxr and building a track on my land at the moment. Good luck with the lighting. Sounds like a good time.
