Just a bit of a game here. Every duals was made from the champs standings. You chose the one rider that you automatically thought who is better FOR YOU (not for everyone else out there, we know we can argue for hours).

You can copy the duals and give your fast answer after the "="

Jeffrey Herlings vs Dylan Ferrandis =
Romain Febvre vs Eli Tomac =
Tim Gajser vs Ken Roczen =
Jeremy Seewer vs Cooper Webb =
Jorge Prado Garcia vs Chase Sexton =
Antonio Cairoli vs Christian Craig =
Glenn Coldenhoff vs Marvin Musquin =
Pauls Jonass vs Joey Savatgy =
Thomas Kjer Olsen vs Justin Barcia =
Alessandro Lupino vs Aaron Plessinger =

Maxime Renaux vs Jett Lawrence =
Jago Geerts vs Justin Cooper =
Tom Vialle vs Hunter Lawrence =
Mattia Guadagnini vs RJ Hampshire =
Jed Beaton vs Jo Shimoda =
Rene Hofer vs Jeremy Martin =

Jeremy Seewer vs Cooper Webb = Seewer, but I think this one is close.
Jorge Prado Garcia vs Chase Sexton = Prado
Antonio Cairoli vs Christian Craig = Cairoli

Kay De Wolf vs Austin Forkner = Wolf

Ruben Fernandez vs Max Vohland = Fernandez, off topic but what he did on a 450 in the last gp's was crazy, thought we would be somewhere around 15th place but he went nuts.
Simon Laengenfelder vs Dilan Schwartz = Laengenfelder

After completing this I noticed that it's highly on the GP guys side.

Jeffrey Herlings vs Dylan Ferrandis = Herlings
Romain Febvre vs Eli Tomac = Tomac
Tim Gajser vs Ken Roczen = Gasjer over an entire series, but in a one off race, I'd say it's 50/50.
Jeremy Seewer vs Cooper Webb = End of US season Webb
Jorge Prado Garcia vs Chase Sexton = Prado
Antonio Cairoli vs Christian Craig = Tony by a huge margin
Glenn Coldenhoff vs Marvin Musquin = The Hoff
Pauls Jonass vs Joey Savatgy = Jonass
Thomas Kjer Olsen vs Justin Barcia = Barcia
Alessandro Lupino vs Aaron Plessinger = AP

Maxime Renaux vs Jett Lawrence = Jett
Jago Geerts vs Justin Cooper = Geerts by a nose
Tom Vialle vs Hunter Lawrence = Vialle (without the injury, I think he would have won again this year)
Mattia Guadagnini vs RJ Hampshire = Guadagnini over a series, but RJ in a one off race
Jed Beaton vs Jo Shimoda = Jo
Rene Hofer vs Jeremy Martin = JMart (a healthy JMart has all of the 250 guys on this list covered, in my opinion)
Kay De Wolf vs Austin Forkner = De Wolf
Thibault Benistant vs Michael Mosiman = Mosiman
Ruben Fernandez vs Max Vohland = Fernandez
Simon Laengenfelder vs Dilan Schwartz = Schwartz

I’ve taken SX skill into account a little bit. If it’s MX only I’ll take Seewer over Webb and Coldenhoff over Marv right now

You are so full of shit, has Febvre ever beaten Tomac in a moto?

Pretty sure Tomac is like 6 for 6 when they lined up.

Renaux better than Jett nah.

Be a little more realistic....

Why so butthurt, i guess this was to be expected, being the first yank to comment these; look up the answers, they are pretty much all similars. If you believe Jett is faster than the 2021 world champ, that is your opinion.

Track - Red Bud just to bias. Not gonna put a sand track in front of Herlings Smile

Jeffrey Herlings vs Dylan Ferrandis = Dylan, he's alot better than last time he raced JH and would surprise, I know this goes against conventional wisdom that Herlings is FMOTP.
Romain Febvre vs Eli Tomac = Tomac but close
Tim Gajser vs Ken Roczen = Gajser
Jeremy Seewer vs Cooper Webb = Seewer, Cooper is getting better but Seewer's final races speed tips the scale
Jorge Prado Garcia vs Chase Sexton = Prado, was injured and faster than final results show
Antonio Cairoli vs Christian Craig = AC was injured and faster than results show
Glenn Coldenhoff vs Marvin Musquin = Marvin

RC vs all the above racers = RC.

Downvotes doesn’t make it less true. RC in his prime beats them all.
Something without a definitive answer can't be true or false. The downvotes to your post come from the fact that OP asked us to choose between apples and oranges, and you posted about grapes...

I think 250 ama is faster then 250 gps coz of the age rule.
Ama has guys like Jeremy Martin, Justin cooper and rj Hampshire still racings. Guys who would have aged out in gp's.
Also in previous years guys like ferrandis was racing.
But another reason why this makes the ama 250s faster is ferrandis winning prevents a guy like Justin cooper from winning and moving up early.
Take out the plus 23 riders and jett would already be a 2 time champion so he would be bumped upto 450s just like what happened to prado.

The OP asked us to do a one-to-one comparison of the top 10 in the 2021 MXGP & US Nationals, and you bring up a guy who's not even and option – and has been retired for 15 years – then get attitude like yours is the perfect answer? Get the fuck outta here with that shit...

I know it’s your opinion, my friend but we all know Ferrandis would get spat on by Herlings. What Herlings did this season was pretty crazy. Ferrandis is fast but in MXGP he isn’t competitive. All the guys who don’t succeed in MXGP go to America. Herlings literally beat Tomac nearly every single time and nearly all of that being on home turf. Tomac is I believe skill wise better than Ferrandis so you already know who’s a better rider. The American motocross isn’t the same anymore because you can’t compare them Europeans much. Euro guys train MX all year round whilst the American dudes need to get ready for SX. Call me a Herlings fanboy which I kind of am but truth be told Herlings is a better rider. Herlings won whilst never having to dip to America.

We can’t know that. RC was fast but those guys were racing shitty bikes compared to what we have now man. I think Herlings would really put up a fight in the sand against him. As much as I love RC we’d need to see it happen before we can say something.

They go to America because they want to race Supercross.

Ferrandis not competitive in MXGP? Yeah, okay. 🙄

You can hate on me all you want but he isn’t on par with Herlings or top 3 guys in MXGP. Everyone hates my opinion cause I share my actual thoughts not bandwagon. I’d take it all back if guy smoked everyone in Europe and take my hat off to him but he’s not better at MX than the other guys in Europe.

I’m sure they go there for SX or whatever but most of the guys that go to the US have been smoked day in and day out in Europe. American racing is different. It’s not on the same level anymore my man. Tracks tend to be gnarlier in Europe as well.

Just a bit of a game here. Every duals was made from the champs standings. You chose the one rider that you automatically thought who is better FOR YOU (not for everyone else out there, we know we can argue for hours).

Pauls Jonass vs Joey Savatgy = Jonass
Thomas Kjer Olsen vs Justin Barcia = Barcia
Alessandro Lupino vs Aaron Plessinger = Plessinger, was injured and faster than final results show

Maxime Renaux vs Jett Lawrence = Jett
Jago Geerts vs Justin Cooper = Justin, toss up, Geerts crashes more
Tom Vialle vs Hunter Lawrence = Vialle (was injured, clearly fastest in class)
Mattia Guadagnini vs RJ Hampshire = RJ
Jed Beaton vs Jo Shimoda = Jo
Rene Hofer vs Jeremy Martin = Jeremy
Kay De Wolf vs Austin Forkner = Kay De Wolf
Thibault Benistant vs Michael Mosiman = Mosiman
Ruben Fernandez vs Max Vohland = Vohland
Simon Laengenfelder vs Dilan Schwartz =Dilan

I know it's your opinion my friend but a dude from Canada just came over and finished top 10 on a non-factory bike so in what world would Dylan Ferrandis not be competitive in MXGP? I don't say he's better than Herlings but at Red Bud he would give him all he can handle and then some

Agree with that... DF14 used to battle Herlings on 250 on a shitty bike in a shit show team. Considering his slight improvements since this days, i'd say he could at least make it interesting. Kenny was decent in GP also, if i remember correctly. And Marv.
