Pre entered riders got the boot... BS...

Dear Riders, First off, I apologize for this late response to you. The 2-stroke race at RedBud has turned into a celebrity invitational event, including the likes of Jeff Stanton, Jeff Emig and Ricky Carmichael. Once these riders confirmed, we decided to close the entries and let the race evolve into a national and local icons invitational event. Unfortunately the confirmations didn't come in until the last few days. As I understand it, your entry fees can be applied to the next FMF 2- Stroke event, or can be refunded. I would suggest emailing Alex Moroz (cc'd above) for information on that. If you have questions, feel free to call the RedBud office at 269-695-6405.

Was the Swinkster a Michigan mafia member?

Does he still ride?

I hope they finally figure out the format of this thing. Is it an exhibition with guys on older / vintage smokers or a full-on race on current smokers?

Kinda hard to do anything in between.

Thats B.S. I do not want to see ricky race with a bunch of retired riders. If he wants to race he could still win the 450 class and do it on a 250 smoker. I want to see a race not a bunch of old guys riding around. I thought maybe it was going to be for some of the young up and comers. Then they said you had to be 18 to race it? Next thing you know its going to be a 40 plus class.
