Hi All,

Having a bit of an issue when it comes to suspension at the moment and i can't seem to get it right.

Am interested to see how people have theirs set up (generally riding Hard Pack). I am running around 135psi in AER 48 fork however i fear this is too low?

Any recommendations will be appreciated on PSI in forks and front and rear clickers for my weight.

Am an intermediate rider

That sounds too low. Maybe obvious, but start with the settings in the owners manual and make small changes from there. The base settings in the manual are really quite good. I found them a touch softer than I like and run a click or two more low speed and a quarter turn more high speed compression. I’m 10lbs heavier and settled on 148psi.

This seems to be the best pressure list I’ve found (and tried) so far.

Pros, 10.6 bar (155 psi); Intermediates, 10.3 bar (150 psi); Fast Novices, 10.0 bar (145 psi); Novices/Vets, 9.6 bar(140 psi)

Spring for your weight, valve for your speed

Proper Race sag in the rear is extremely important.

For 350s and 450s we have been using 103 race sag with the rider standing on the pegs in full race gear.

If you are using the stock rear spring, it may be too light of a spring rate for you, gear adds at least 20 pounds.

Following this thread closely as I have the same bike, similar weight (165lbs), running my settings completely stock all around, 150psi, 105 sag. Bike has a bit of a chopper feel and fights to initiate turns, was thinking I accidentally rotated my handlebars too far forward, I’ve been meaning to mess with them and the psi, but haven’t had a chance yet.

Try 100-103 sag makes a big difference on these bikes.
