Ive been there a year later on 4 september 1988, i was 8 years old and had the day of my life. I remember the 80 cc race very well. If i'm correct Stefan Everts competed in it. I got an autograph of Mickey Dymond. And John van de Berk made a mistake, got up and in the next jump and corner he gained his position back by passing two others.

I was there.
16 years old and the first time I saw Rick Johnson race.
When he crashed in the first turn, my friends said he wil never catch Geboers and win.
I bet them he would and he did.

That was fun, Tblaz, good find man Smile

Johnson was in a pretty good mood in that one. I wish they could’ve interviewed Micky. Good stuff!

87-88 peak RJ was so scary I think my little brother dressed up as him for Halloween around then.
