I was really looking forward to a team without JBS> Now I really hope that he gets the call even without him in the Nationals the US will need him to win. Dungey is a go and either Short like Flarider stated or Ivan Tedesco!!

That should be the team right there the way things stand right now. Since Stewart is a "supercross only" rider, he can be our SX1 rider in the Supercross des Nations. So unless Alessi or Villopoto can recover (seems unlikely):

Tedesco
Dungey
Short.

Win or lose.

Exactly!!! This should be the team unless Tedesco keeps it up because he has MXoN experiance.

Don't start changing your story about James Stewart. His not racing the Nationals and he shouldn't be allowed to race the Motocross Des Nation's period. The USA has plenty of rider's to pick from.

I don't like when people say one thing and then say another. Screw James Stewart, he doesn't race the National's so why would they pick him for the team?

Uh maybe because we want to win? Isn't that the point? This isn't little league where everyone gets a turn send the best.

Stewart
Alessi(Should be healthy)
Dungey

No way send Short anytime he has a chance to win he finds away to slow it down another notch to make sure that doesn't happen.

I get the impression that lots of you guy seem to think that whoever Team USA are , they will win with ease.
I Think they should too and here's why... You aren't racing against the world's best talent on two wheels by a long long way!

In the US every kid who rides aspires to be R.C. or Stewart. In the rest of the world they want to be Rossi, Stoner, Fogarty, Lorenzo ( yes maybe even Ben Spies). And most of the dad's who's boys show any talent will take them road racing. Thats where the money is , thats where the glamour is. In the rest of the world MX is a very poor relation indeed!

SO, if you can't win with ease against the remnants of world talent, then hang your heads in shame!!!!!!!!!
