I’m just glad I don’t live in a city. And am not reliant on imaginary safe food resources outside of my control. And have no need for technology if it disappears.

You clearly inferred that this was a legitimate piece because of it being catalogued by the CIA, reinforced by your glowing endorsement of it.

Yet you were completely ignorant of why it was there, despite the URL to the piece.

It’s hard to believe that a grown, allegedly educated adult could see the URL and not be able to understand why that is there.

If you weren’t trying to infer that it being in the CIA catalogue, you’d have likely linked to Amazon so people could buy one of your chosen bibles……

Limits of growth has been readdressed and remained true until the present.
Ignore science and rely on personal observation.
There is a place in North Queensland where my father built a holiday shack in the 1970s. It is unique as protected by island it had coral reef to the shore. And no people. Last paradise.
Walking the low hills reveal strata of ancient coral beds from tens of thousands of years while the ocean rose and fell.
After a lifetime of snorkeling, in 20 years the coral has gone. No fish, no crustaceans, no dugong.
This is not a natural cyclic event.
Buggered if I know.

The big picture 

50 years ago Club of Rome, a group of scientists using early computers to model the future 

Their results are still on track 

Simple evidence based logic 

Peak at 2030

Then regression 

Pray it it is a slow roll where we slowly lose what we gained in the last 150 years 

What gave humanity the right to global air travel , and rockets, (now found to destroy the most fragile ecosystem on the planet, the biosphere)

Plastic? Pharmaceuticals? CFCs? Nuclear power plant meltdowns? Fossil fuel climate change? Social media? Overfishing?

Hard to catch a fish these days 

150 years. Such a short time 

Saw a lady riding a horse into town last week. She sat the horse well. And it was a calm horse in traffic 

2030 is the roll of point apparently
