A few of you might follow me on social and see that I moved to Australia five months ago to start a new life me and my family, but I have had a lot of question to what I'm actually doing? When we moved here we loaded up a 20ft container with a variety of family belongings but most of all my two 2-strokes haha... Once we got out of quarantine I was lucky enough to start working with my friends at Intense Cycles as ambassador attending events and leading group rides. A short time later I started with the team at MXstore.com.au. MXstore has been a breath of fresh air to me working with 150 motivated individuals who haven't lost the culture of what moto is. I have been to two MX Nationals raced one on a GasGas 125 for there 125 cup and been to two local races here on the Gold Coast. The moto scene in Australia is so underrated with some great tuners and a ton of people building some epic older bikes.
With me seeing so many great bike builds all around Australia and Covid making bike builds very popular globally one of my first projects at MXstore was to showcase the range of parts and knowledge the staff has in house. Our team created a YouTube series called the Wreckers to Checkers. We purchased 3 bikes and the boys have a budget of 6k to build them. After the first two episodes I reached out Andrew Short to give us some insight on the 08' Honda build and I personally think he killed it with a wealth of knowledge when it came to that bike.
Anyhow this isn't a shameless plug. I reached out to Guy B about advertising with Vital and I can say the team here at MXstore is elated to have our banners up on the site and for all of you to see what we are doing down under. Personally for me to be able stay involved with scene a world a way is rad. I hope you all enjoy this latest project we call The Wreckers to Checkers.
