I don't post much anymore but the 90's purple thread got me. this used to have some of that way back. been about 6 years since I did new graphics and plastic. I know it's not "correct", this is my every other sunday rider. I alternate between this and my CR125.

EG 265 motor with his Mo Betta package. Ohlins shock. 47mm Showa B kit forks.

you know, I had it done 5 or so years ago and it's been pretty strong but recently I installed the lectron from my 500 and it was a nice improvement. then a month ago I got a little surprise. my CR125 is a somewhat built over bore also and runs on 110 octane mixed 50/50 with non eth premium. I went to Croom with the 250 and grabbed the race mix and the thing was a beast. the most responsive engine I think I've ever had, and I've had 2 - 250SX KTM's. low, mid, over rev. def mo betta. really surprised the guys I ride with.

needless to say all I run in it now is the race fuel mix.

man it was a long time ago, like a decade. If my senior (68) memory serves I had Applied make me a set of clamps. they had done it before so had the set up in their computer. I think I also had to change the front caliper mount.

thanks to member LuckyNino. sand cast with machined gasket surfaces. only took 8 days from Switzerland to Florida. I don't get things from the west coast that fast.

If you don’t mind me asking, how much were the clutch/stator covers? As well, is that a full carbon airbox or did you just run the carbon stickers?

he lists the pair of covers on ebay at $190.00 plus shipping. he also does auctions and I got on one that ended late at night and no one else bid so I saved a bunch.

on the airbox I bought a roll of carbon fiber with 3m glue backing on amazon for 15 bucks. used a heat gun on low temp. worked great. there was enough on the roll to do both sides again if these get beat up.
