I'm looking to get a little better cornering out of my'19 yz250f and I'm considering some new clamps. Does anyone know what the stock offset is? And what offset is best for increasing turning?

The stock offset is 22mm. I would strongly recommend that you buy the Xtrig ROCS Pro clamps with an adjustable offset (20-22mm). With those clamps you'll be able to try out the 20mm setting for sharper cornering and go back to 22mm if you don't like it. They also have probably the best bar mounts on the market and the largest range of adjustability.

They aren't cheap but you get what you pay for. I have them on my 2020 YZ250F.

Can you tell a significant difference with the new clamps?

I haven't actually tried the 20mm setting at all because i don't want to sacrifice any braking/straight line stability. The PHDS bar mounts eliminate any vibration/harshness that might occur on rougher tracks and that is awesome! I bought the clamps mainly because the bar mounts wont twist in a crash and the bar mount adjustability is large.

what is the bike doing that you don't like? I know you say increased turning but what do you mean by that.?

What is your sag? do you have the proper spring weights(based on weight)? how far up have you slid the forks into the triple clamps. What is your riding ability? What are your current suspension setting?

Buying a 600 dollar set of clamps wont help much unless the bike is set up properly before.

I've got the ROCs and PDHS, I'm super happy with the vibration and shock reduction. They're a decent bit taller which takes some getting used too, but I went to a lower bar bend to help offset.

How do you adjust the steering head tightness on xtrig triple clamp? Because as i understand you will have to remove the ring nut with the xtrig's
