2017 KX450 For Sale

Vet owned and maintained. The bike is immaculate. Oil changed every 3 hours and filter changed every ride. 10.7 hours on the bike. Factory Showa A Kit suspension set up for 190 lbs.

Suspension: Factory Showa A Kit Forks with A Kit rear shock. 18mm shock shaft. Pro Circuit rear link. X Trig Pro Triple Clamps 1 1/8 Bar mounts.

Motor: Stock motor with Vortex Ignition tuned by Twisted Development. Hinson Clutch with Cover, and Hinson Ignition Cover. Cerekoted inner clutch cover. Pro Circuit Ti6 Pro exhaust. No Toil Powerflo air filter and cage.

Wheels/Drive: Faster USA built hubs with DID Stx rims. Dunlop MX3S tires. Renthal sprockets and DID gold chain.

Controls: Renthal 997 bars and grips, ARC levers. Raptor Ti Foot Pegs.

Body: CMT Carbon Fiber Gas Tank, Skid Plate, chain guide, rear caliper guard and disc guard, sprocket cover, front brake disc guard. Alot of titanium bolts and hardware. Throttle Syndicate Graphics and Decor seat cover. Works connection radiator braces and all the bling they have to offer.

All the brake calipers and covers are Cerekoted. No expense was spared when building this bike. Very low hours. I have all the stock parts that were taken off to go with the bike. I would consider selling the bike the stock suspension. If your not interested, please don’t waste my time. If you think it’s not worth it, kindly move along.

Random question: I saw your bike is a 2017, but it’s got a PC link. I know in ‘17, kawi redid the linkage and swingarm. Did you put a PC for the ‘16 onto your ‘17 or is it a special item you came across? And how did it work for you? Curious as I’m doing an ‘18 and our bikes have the same oem linkage.

Gorgeous and well thought out built rig. If I wasn’t already invested well into mine, I’d snag this without a second thought.

@Dan - dd you find the vortex/TD mapping to help the motor at much compared to the '19? I have a '17 and '19 and the motor is so much better on the '19. I'm not planning to sell the '17 at all (its only 34 hrs) but would be happy to have some more excitement from it.

16-17-18 the kx450 was the same and nothing changed at all ..

The Pro Circuit link on this bike is not a link you can buy. It’s custom to this suspension and shock.

The TD Vortex defiantly provided more power on the 17. Funny you say that, I have a and 19 and a 20 and I think the motor on the 17 has more power and I have a TD vortex on my 20 also. The 20 engine package is easier to ride IMO but sheer power the 17 has more IMO

Negative, sir. Kawi changed the linkage system in ‘17. Slight swingarm redesign as well but just an increased area where the shock goes through to the linkage.

$12,000.00 for a bike that sounds like a garden tractor. Ain't no 4stroke out accelerate a 2 stroke. Exception my buddy on a xr650r. 3rd gear holeshot on an endure 650. But we ain't racing a quarter mile
