6d ATR-2 Vs. Bell Moto 10 FLEX

I'm in the market for a new helmet after a big crash. But should I wait for the new Bell Moto 10 or the 6d ATR-2? They both seem awesome but which is better. I know that the Bell is comparable in terms of safety to the ATR-2 with the FLEX system, but I have a small fear that in a big crash that one of those ODS things will bust through the EPS foam. Just looking for some guidance.

I went with 6D since they’ve been making helmets with this technology for a long time and seem less likely to get it wrong. I think the ods things are recessed so they let the foam parts rotate a bit and have some cushion, but they’ll bottom out against each other before the rubber is in danger of poking through.

6D has been around for a long time now, and this is their second version of the helmet. In all of the testing they’ve done, including hits that would kill people, this obviously has not been an issue.

6D shows data, Bell doesn’t. For me, that’s notable. The 6D technology seems much more advanced too.

Pick the helmet that you feel the most comfortable in, both in how it fits your head and how much you believe in it.

Should probably wait for your short term memory loss to clear up first before you buy a new helmet
