The racers have gotten so damn fast and efficient at eliminating wasted time with scrubs and other riding techniques unlike in the past. Looks like 25-30+ lap mains are going to be the new norm unless they move them to outdoor stadiums like Daytona/Atlanta speedway?
I wish they’d do something about these one line flat track corners on they have on the insides of corners... there’s like three of them on this track alone. They literally take dump trucks loads full of dirt, build up this massive Berms on the outsides, and they barely see as much as a knobby mark all night.

They did it every year in Pontiac. Even with full crowds they are rarely selling out the full stadium. They can go up in the stands. I imagine there's a significant cost involved though.

Right up until they short something. Nichols topped him both sessions and is starting to walk away with the series yet the announcers can't stop blowing kisses to Jett. it get's old. The kid is great but he isn't perfect.


edit: I love the kid but I just don't think the constant overwhelming adulation is a good thing.
