I bet no one noticed it but Brian Shuckhart a privateer qualified on an RM-250 two stroke in the top 30 and ran very well against the big bikes

Very cool! I would have noticed. I can smell pre-mix from distance, and that sounds gives me a boner before my awareness notice.

A publicity thing, or does he really dig that dino?

No he has been riding a two stroke for the past two years, hes really fast around here. He was 3rd in his practice and beat Pastrana, Willard, and Gibson in a race last month on it.

On a rough track a 250 2 can be a serious advantage!

Well extra cool then!

For a rider like him I suggest switching to a four stroke wouldn't turn the world upside down in the results list? He's gaining more attention, respect and publicity as it is? Stick to that sucker sonny! Smile

We did talk about it yesterday. Good for him . I bet he would have done better on a 4 stroke.

How about 15 lbs lighter. And almost the same power. On the sound alone you loose. By the way I dont think you know what I am talking about when I say rough track I ride in Florida.

Well I cant claim to riding in Florida but I have ridden on rough tracks. I have an 08 RM250 and a 08 RM450. I like the 250 way more but its not as competitive against 450s. The track was also very smooth yesterday, they completely re-worked it especially before the second 450 moto

No definitely not unfortunately. Top ten at Lorrettas last year wins his qualifier and Vurb moto talks about 2nd and 3rd place and leaves him out. Seems the 2 stroke brings alot of fans but also alot of hate

I don't hate 2 strokes. I am selling my 85 so I can buy a 125. When will he be hitting the nationals next?

I raised my warm beer-can and placed the smiley button on my seasoned face

every *&(^%$& time he passed me - I was up where J.Granite went and let his

bike ride itself into the truck - anyway, first time in a while a 2 smoke was

permitted into a NATIONAL in years. Think we've been mandated out due to policy

changes....ahem.

Props to Shuckhart.

Let there be smoke.

(My flagman puked up there, too - have proof-pics... SHHHH )

I think his second moto ended a little early with a flat rear tire.

The deflation prompted the dehydration of the inspiration and stimulation of

the promulgation of the hibernation.

All power to the 2 stroka-nation.

Holla.

No, tire was definitely lacking pressurized gaseous components.

He found out down the stair-steps and rolled on from there.

Word.

*Props to him for trying.

Lots of cheers for the local with the Ratio-Rite.

I hope they bring the 2 strokes into the nationals. For the fans and all those guys who still want to race them. It would really favor people like him. Michael Willard has been racing up in PA, and he has lost to shuckhart basically every time and he went 15-16.

did anyone notice that by the mid point of the 2nd 450 moto, there at least 10 guys who were "out" or "DNS." What was up with that? I think at the end there were only 29 bikes on the track according to the tv chart.

WELL you know that a 4 stroke is better when there is limited traction and so it up in air about which is better. I have ridden both and the 2 stroke is better on a rought track. For sure when in the sand with big whoops! , just ask some the GNCC riders
