Premix oil

What premix oil do you guys her in UK use in two strokes? Im looking to buy possibly in bulk instead of 1l. Im also looking at using Triple Qx 10w 40 semi engine oil in the transmission. Anyone had experience of this oil? Cheers

Can’t you get a747 in the uk? I’d get that if it was available in the states. I run 927 in my 250 and so far it hasn’t lived up to its reputation of being dirty. I don’t have a drop of spooge anywhere. Even my powervalve is still clean

Yes you can, it’s what I run. I’ve never had a problem with build up & it smells lovely.

Same here. In the US (I lived in Manhattan 2015-19), I used Maxima 927, but my staple in the UK is Castrol A747. Just be sure to give it a good shake if stored as it can separate if sat mixed for a while. As for transmission oil, I use ATF and change every 3 rides. Not had one clutch or gearbox failure in 20 years.
