How tall are you?

I’m 6’8” in boots and ride a 21 450sxf. All I’ve done is extra tall seat, 2” risers and fastway evo pegs and really like the ergos now. Currently waiting on my suspension to come back from the tuner and that should help the balance out.

I’m no engineer but I’d really think the 2tall kits are a bit much. Again, I’m no MX chassis guru but I’d think that putting the back end that high without figuring out how to raise the head tube would throw the bikes balance off.

I looked at your post history so you’re 6’9”. Man nothing is built for our size. In a perfect world I’d find a way to commission a like 1.1:1 framed bike.

Yeah, 6’ 9” boomer that has been making/using tall seats and bars for 40+ years and would just like to try one of their kits. Not huckin huge doubles but not dead yet either.

A few years ago I actually bought a KTM specifically to try a kit. I spoke to them, had it ordered and they went belly up......😡

How do you guys ride.. Im 6'3 and feel like a giant on my 450xcf. I've done bar risers but that's about it, still uncomfortable standing. I was on the fence about lower pegs, do you experience any dragging?

I am an old Boomer and have been riding/racing motocross since the early 70’s. Quite honestly when you are exceptionally tall you first just get used to it and then second realize that there are a lot of things that are just a compromise.

I’ve been so tall for so long that’s just my reality and as far as I know that’s just what bikes feel like. If I ever got on a bike that was truly proportional it would probably feel incredibly strange.

I’ve run some lowered pegs before and I’ve never noticed a problem but then again I’m an old slow Boomer and try to stay the hell away from big stringy ruts.

This pic been up here before but this is what 6’ 9” looks like on a CR 480. People out there taller than I am riding every day....

I'm 6'5" and I just run a higher bar bend mounted with stock mounts in far forward position and a wide seat foam for easier gripping when standing. I've never messed with pegs, just like more cockpit room.
