I will also note that the pain is happening less and less which my GI specialist noted was a very good sign. This summer I would only have 1-2 days that I felt decent, now it feels like it's every two weeks it starts acting up. Anyways, I guess I am just rambling on, just thought I would update this thread since it's been almost 3 months.
It was bad enough today that I was actually happy my plans to go to the track got cancelled. Anyone who knows me knows I ALWAYS want to ride
My GI specialist has had me on Lansoprozle for probably 2-3 months and I honestly can't tell if it's working or not. Should I head back to PC doctor and have them send me to a different specialist or just deal with what I've got for the time being? I also went to an allergist for the first time which was more or less a total waste. They had me do a ton of blood work and all they told me was to stay away from soy beans.
Tried all the meds. Had a colonoscopy and endoscopy at age 25.. not fun. Very expensive.
What helped me the most was radically changing my diet, meditating, and learning how to control my stress levels.
Sounds like you are getting better. I would suggest reading the book "Wired to Eat" by Robb Wolf. Also check out the Ben Greenfield Fitness website and podcast.
