Doing a little build on this husqvarna, swapping the plastics over to black, giving it a full service and maybe some new sprockets and chain 👍🏻

When then seat bolts are so shit they changed them the next year. And you have to drill them out to get the seat off 💪🏻

I've been through the same thing with my KTMs. What's your remedy? I was thinking of just doing a bolt from one side to the other.

Yeah going to bolt it it’s the only thing you can do really.

Starting to get somewhere with it not iv drilled the seat bolts out

Got a few things done on the bike today. Got the oil changed, new air filter and oiled and fitted the last of the plastics.

Next I need to fix the rear plastics down put on the graphics for the swing arm and fork guards and get the seat on

Did find out that the rear wheel is bent so that will cheer the guy up 🙈😂

Got the wheels off today, need to swap over the brake discs and get the inner tubes out to go on the new rims

Got the sprocket on the new rims and the brake discs. Had to make some new bolts as the 5 out the 6 bolts snapped 😤

Buffed up the down pipe so it looks a little better but seen there’s a crack so will need a new one at some point.

Got the light light painted black 💪🏻

Swapped over the seat cover today, The foam was wet so go a hair dry on that 😂 wasn’t a hard job looks better and looks great up against the new black plastics








Run into a problem with the front light plastic! Didn’t match up to well so gone with a Matt black this time so hopefully that’s a better match

Got the tyre on look great. Only had time to get the front on so hopefully finish it off tomorrow

Well well! Finally got the rear tyre on and chain had to cut the chain down as it was a little to long 😂 then had to change the bolts on the rear disc as the kept rubbing the brake caliper bracket but after all that finished. Just need to paint the hand guards then fully done

About as long as paint on a car, Any big hits i would think would take some paint off. Can’t wrap it 😂 can do the front but the other side you can’t do look stupid one side black and the other white

You can buy the ktm ones in black and i thing they are nicer too.

If you see the bike in the opening post i think the paint will last 5 mins. It is the first thing to hit the bushes.

Iv done a quad bike plastics and that’s held up fine but only time will tell. What are the ktm ones??

My handguards look terrible after 1 season. Thats why i said they wouldnt last.

😂😂😂 yeah I wouldn’t think they would if any big hits happen but so far other a few rides out they fine
