Tripes talked about that race a bunch during his episode of the Whiskey Throttle Show. he still had his original parking pass and race flier!!

I was there... As a spectacular.... Left my Childhood sweetheart at the Alter.... Bought a Corvette and Headed West... From Kentucky to Twin Falls... Then San Francisco.. Los Angeles... Vegas... And back to Kentucky... True Story this was long before 198 came along Rupert 😎

Raced the amateur day. Evel screwed me... qualifying day was hard packed,dusty and I qualified well. woke up race day and he flooded the track and turned it into a mudder , not prepared for that and broke both motos! Best part was the hells angels broke into the beer trucks that night... free beer for me and my mates!

Rup,

Road trip on down to Topeka, KS and visit the Evel museum there. It is top notch. Has a small section on the Snake River MX races. Good moto history.
