Dude get that thing plated. I was a new man after the surgery.
Plate and screws here. That end was jabbing up into my shoulder and came close to pushing out. End was sharp enough to cut the surgeon's gloves, according to him. Ten days from wreck to surgery, then a week to PT, then 6 more weeks until pronounced "healed". Took about a year for it to quit tingling and burning as the nerves regrew. Today, the shoulder feels good although I can 100% feel the plate and if I "flex" I can see the screw heads moving under the skin.

I was cleared on Friday for "light exercise". Saturday, we were backpacking my son's first elk out of the canyon, in the dark. If you've never packed an elk out... it's strenuous. I just tried to favor my good side with the pack strap or fall and put my hand out.

Hope you heal up quickly!
Mine broke two weeks ago. Didn’t had surgery and it’s healing up on its own (hopefully on the right place).
Still got a lot of pain and difficult to sleep well...

A doctor once told me that he can always tell motocross people the minute they take their shirts off because their collarbones are sticking out in weird directions.

Just a heads-up for you guys. I broke both of mine a few times. Never had surgery as I was told it was unnecessary. Healed fine but not brilliantly aligned.

Fast-forward to life after motocross and I can’t get a non-tailored suit to fit properly. One shoulder is slightly lower than the other because of the misalignment of the bone and so the buttons of the jacket don’t line up!

Not the end of the world but just saying’...
