Hour counter

I lost my hour counter last week riding. I will get a new one but can i trick the hour counter to think the bike is running. Because my counter was at 26 hours and it is just to keep it simple.

Dont you keep maintenance records? I write everything down cause I got too many bikes and too much stuff in my head to remember everything. Just jot it down in your records. I have a 65 with like 120 hours on the meter. Had a guy ask me once how I can get so many hours on a piston. Haha You could always try to put it in the microwave for 26 hours and see if that works!Woohoo

I do keep the records of the bikes i have. But the record of the yz is now at 26 and i would like to keep going from that for simplicity. if there is a simple way to do this it would be nice but if not i will keep going in the record from 0 hours.

Write on under side seat 26 to add to meter

I dont have any plug wires. The coil pack are in the bougie plug.

Just wrap the wire around the coil packs it will work.
Zip tie the Hour meter somewhere out of the way safe.

a friend last night said i should put in on my moped. The plan is to make a large trip with my old moped. if i dont get up to 26 hours i will stick in in my car.
